  16. i dont think hes hyped up way to much. hes 40+ and still beating guys that r 5-10-15 years younger than him

  17. ….Ok, so he managed to get knocked down twice and drew against some bloke called Mercado. He never WON a title fight outside of his home turf in his entire career! Good fighter, but he’s been hyped up way too much.

  22. the world wanted to see the rematch, and he kept refusing due to money and of course he knows RJJ would smash his fucking skull in, it was okay for de la hoya trinidad and pavlik to gain weight and step up to hopkins but he wouldnt step up to fight RJJ or Toney he had it easy in the middleweight division just like Calzaghe, and yeah i follow boxing, i like fighters with balls RJJ, Hagler,Robinson,Tyson,Foreman,Frazier,Ali,Pacquiao,n more bt i think hopkins is a great bt no more than Calzaghe is

  23. Bhop…the man who “almost” cheated his way to victory over Joe Calzaghe. Still, wins over blown up welters like de la hoya, wright, and trinidad…plus 2 losses to Tayor is still pretty impressive. Oh, and he never had a title fight outside of the USA. Excellent fighter - just a tad over rated IMO.
