I like sugar too but I dont honestly believe he was good enough to beat or even compete with hagler. I think his excuse(s)for retiring-unretiring are bogus and if he were hald the fighter you all say he was he should have beat Norris even at 34. He was unbeaten in 11 years and heavily favored so theres no way he’s suddenly shot. I think thats a very poor excuse and I think the real reason he lost that fight is becuz sugar cannot force a fight like he has to the way Hagler did with hearns
Stop hating on him. All boxers have idols, thats what makes them enrol into the sport. When Leonard was small he idolized Sugar Ray Robinson and Muhammed Ali. It’s only natural that he wanted to be like his idols. Ali’s trainer could of said “I’m not training you” but he obviously had potential to be an all time great. He took Ali’s style and made it his own. I’ve seen plenty people do the Ali shuffle stop bitching.
it wasnt his bolo punch. he stole it from another fighter (Gavilan) like he stole everything else. he stole Ali’s trainer and 3 year layoff plan. he stole his showboat routine and red shoe tassles. the man has no identity of his own
that’s my idol
2;40 Zsa Zsa Padilla’s dad!
wasnt really like ali either was his own thing.
amazing like ali
shut up he didnt copy them he is the best look how fast he is
he also tried to imitate the ali shuffle in some fights
also the way he throws the hooks from side to side is what ali did against frazier and foreman.
na his style is more akin to ali. Dancing, rope-a-dope, show boating etc.
dont forget that his name and style are similar to sugar ray robinson
simplismente fantastico esse é o cara um íconi inspiração pra qualquer atléta de boxe

Thats a great arguement you put up there- resorting to insults is what idiots do when they can`t put up a decent response.
